Quartz

Quartz | Hot Springs

Typically made from natural stone particles or chips bonded with plastic resins, engineered quartz countertops provide an attractive, durable surface for everyday use in kitchens and bathrooms. Quartz slabs made with stone particles have a more uniform appearance, while slabs made with quartz chips have more distinctive patterns, similar to granite.

Quartz Countertops

Though rare, natural quartz countertops do not contain plastic resins. These countertops provide an attractive, durable surface and are available with color and pattern variations.

Emcar Marble & Granite Inc. works with multiple quartz and other stone suppliers to ensure a wide selection of quartz stone.

When installing quartz countertops, our team will provide cleaning and maintenance information to clients. Though durable, even the best quartz countertops can suffer damage from continuous sun exposure and heat from pots and pans.

We recommend that clients place a towel or trivet underneath hot cookware when placing these items on countertops. Clients should clean up liquid spills immediately to prevent staining.

Quartz Kitchen Countertops

If you're looking for the elegance of Marble, but need something much harder to work on, look no further than quartz stone for your next project. White quartz countertops have always been an excellent alternative to the softer marble, which can prove difficult to maintain. Quartz stone is a much harder material than marble, so it can hold up to the rough treatment a counter can usually get- knives, pots and pans and so on. You may be concerned about the quartz countertops cost, but it is much more cost efficient to use due to its relatively low maintenance requirements and overall strength.
